Re: QOTD

  • MY SIL and her husband and almost-2-year-old are heading from Washington State to visit the family in Maryland for the week, so DH and I are headed down to participate in the family visit! Flying down tonight, back home Sunday night.

Given that DH is super sick and we're moving on WEDNESDAY, it's not the best timing, but we only get to see them once a year or so, and we want to see our nephew, even if it's got some inconvenience in the mix!

  • Tonight - no plans.  probably watching TV with DH

Tomorrow - clear up the clutter and do laundry

Sunday - quality time with DH

And I will be starting on putting together a list of items to register for and start price shopping (Target v BRU).

  • Nursery stuff - it looks like a bomb went off in there.  I created a mood board for it, so hopefully by June it will look like this.  I plan on getting the endtable painted, the closet cleaned out, and chair shopping this weekend.  (hopefully more, but I'm trying to be realistic.)   Nursery

  • I LOVE your idea for the nursery JP!  So cute!!

Tonight, my sisters and I  are driving to mom's for a wedding shower for my sis tomorrow.  Then, we are driving straight back here because I have to drive half way to Tuscaloosa on Sunday morning to meet my friend to give her a car load of stuff I've been collecting from work for this family: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=208593859160901&set=a.208591075827846.52924.204116842941936&type=1&theater

It will be another busy weekend!

  • Tonight: dinner with the IL's since we couldn't do anything on Mother's Day,oh joy

Saturday: lots of errands, groceries, ON, finish shower candies, niece's recital

Sunday: church, order shower cake with my sister, and then visiting a friend during her garage sale (it's city wide and she always does super well)

  • Today: work until my VIP's are done, then painting the ceiling in the closet and bedroom.  DH will be spreading mulch that's being delivered today before the washout of a weekend.

Tomorrow: Painting the closet, priming wood trim.  Then who knows depending on the weather.

Sunday: Painting the trim and possibly trying out a stencil on one wall in the bedroom before we paint.

  • Tonight: probably not too much, catching up on TV that we have missed over the past few weeks.

Tomorrow: Hopefully going to the Lilac Festival.  It's supposed to be a bit rainy, but I'm hopeful that the rain will stay very light and scattered and mostly hold off until the late afternoon.  We have friends coming in from Buffalo and Syracuse to go with us.  They are both bringing their kids. One couple has a 2.5yr old and a 11mth old, and the other has a 9.5mth old. It will be fun to see the kids interact, and we haven't met the 11mth old so it will be nice to meet her.  So fingers crossed for no major rain.  But if it gets cancelled I'll probably start with the big clothes changeover for summer.

Sunday: Sandle shopping, hopefully not an all day event. The sandles I have are really old and starting to rub on my feet and hurt, and are falling apart, so I really need to get something to wear on warmer days.  And then working more on changing my clothes over.

  • Tonight: tutoring, buying pool chemicals, out to dinner to our fav pizza restaurant. Tomorrow: Saturday detention, cleaning out the garage, chaperoning the prom which I love. Sunday: gym, clean, church, groceries, relax and try to recharge. I need to get out of this funk I'm in at work.

  • Drew just left me until at least Tuesday, so any plans I did have, have changed.

Tonight:  I stopped at Ikea on the way home from the airport and bought a TON of blankets for newborn props.  Maybe, if I feel productive, I'll wash those.  I've also been thinking about doing another vlog to update things on the IVF cycle.

Tomorrow:  I need to run to the post office to mail a couple of packages.  Then, since Drew is gone, I want to get a bunch of cleaning done around here since I know that it'll stay cleaner for longer than 2 seconds.

    Sunday:  No plans.
