Kelli, how is that working?

Doesn't your H know what you're having?

How is picking out names working.  Is he equally as talkative, I guess, about each gender?  Just wondering if he was giving any small hints about what you're having.

How do you refer to the baby?  Just as baby, or do you have a nickname?

I think it's interesting, and I'm just wondering how good your H was doing.  Does he want to spill the beans?

Re: Kelli, how is that working?

  • Yup, he knows. Honestly it's been no big deal. I've been tempted to ask him a few times what it is but I've resisted. Once I know I can't undo it so I'm still holding out.

As far as picking names goes, we kind of had them picked (or narrowed down at least) before we even found out so it hasn't been too much work. We still discuss how we would handle things for a boy or a girl, like our ides on circumcision if it's a boy. I realize it could be a moot point and it kind of makes me laugh when I think about it.

Mostly I just say the baby. Sometimes when he/she is pushing and it's uncomfortable I say your baby but that's mostly just joking around. I do say it a lot though and I know some people don't like to call their baby "it" but it doesn't bother me.

I don't think he wants to tell me as badly as he wants me to want to know. Does that even make sense, lol??? Sometimes I feel bad because I know he wants to talk about things that you'd talk about if you knew it was a boy or a girl. But I really want that moment in the delivery room when they say It's a        !
