DD

Nobody posted a day in the life on the house thing, but I wanted to say that I think your house is super cute and it looks like it's in a great neighborhood. I love the patio and furniture out back! It really stinks that your house is kind of a mess because of the storms but it's so good to hear that you have the homeowners insurance in place to get new goodies. I can't wait to see what you pick out! I'm just happy that you are ok. Those things around the house can be replaced, but you cannot. Thank God for insurance!

  • Thanks! We're definitely blessed to only have the damage we have. When I get frustrated with insurance quotes, etc. I just look across the field at the demolished houses, and I feel instantly better. :-) I will miss my trees. I know that's trivial in the grand scheme of things, but I really like those trees. So did the kitties. I was really really happy that my grandmother's wind chime wasn't broken, though. It's the only sentimental thing in our yard. The rocking chairs, patio furniture, grill, fire pit, and trees are broken and/or gone, but that wind chime was still hanging unharmed.
