Pet people come in
my freind needs to buy a chair for her apartment and not sure what fabric is best for dog owners. will cotton be ok or is leather better or microfiber? this dog sheds just looking at him.

I like microfiber. Cotton can be hard to get out dirt and leather is easy to scratch plus it's very cold. We have leather couches and they look horrible at less than 10yrs old. They are torn up and really need to be thrown out.
I'm going with microfiber for our next couch. My mom has a microfiber couch and it seems easy to brush the fur off it.
Another vote for microfiber. Like PP said, cotton stains way too easily and while leather is durable, it does tear especially once it is a little older.
We love our microfiber and wouldnt buy anything else with pets OR kids.
