I have just finally made peace with my mom buying that stupid corvette and then I see this conversation posted between her and her brother on FB.
Uncle: I wanted to borrow it so I could drop my son off to my EX in it, she wouldnt go for it...so I think your idea may be out too!
Mom: Glad u enjoyed taking it for a spin. Next time u have to take it on highway!! Oh and don't forget I trade vette drives for Harley rides on a 1:1 ratio!!!! That is until I get my own bike!!!!
WTF?!?! My mother was the poster child for mothers/nurses again motorcycles. I'm just going to pretend that whole conversation didnt happen.

My Bio
Yeah I dont really care if she gets a bike. B and I have talked about getting a Can-Am Roadster ourselves. You have to know my mom IRL to get how she will say things (be it moving, trips, cars, other big ticket purchases), become obsessive over it to the point where she drives you insane about it, and then about 6 months later drop whatever it is like a hot potato.
The motor cycle thing in particular is very hypocritical b/c she threatened to kick my brother out about a year ago b/c he told her he was going to buy a bike. She also lectures my grandfather to no end about his bike.
