PSA: Good deal on baby furniture
While I'm aware that BRU can be sketch, I had to share a good deal I got on baby furniture with the other moms-to-be here that may be looking.
BRU has Babi Italia's ("A" rating in Baby Bargains 2011) Eastside collection at 30% off when you buy three pieces. The Middletown store lets you use the 20% furniture coupon with (Paramus and Nanuet told me "no" on the combining of coupons . I wasn't going to, but I am so glad I called BRU Middletown this morning and asked). I also opened up a credit card and I got 10% off in addition to the 30% and 20%. So, I got my convertible crib, 5 drawer chest and dresser/changing table combo for about 60% off. I have extra 20% furniture coupons if someone wants them (expires 5/26. You don't need a coupon for the 30%, but I'm not sure how long that sale runs).

You read my mind doll! I was just going to post about this. We purchase furniture yesterday. We got 20% and additional 10% for opening a card and an additional 10% on a scratch off at the Nanuet BRU. The furniture comes in Memorial Day weekend. Which means I have a lot of organizing to do in my bedroom.

Were you a BRU junkie when you opened your card? I was a disgrace- we (a combo of my MIL, my mom and me so it's not sooooo bad) bought the furniture, mattress, stroller, car seat, bday gifts for my niece at toys r us, and a baby shower gift for a friend. I had too many freaking coupons to resist. DH is going to shoot me when he gets home.
haha i bought just the furniture. we did it because my parents are paying for the furniture and the only way to get all those discounts was to open the card. i completed my registry and bought lots of cute outfits

We have this crib and changing table for C. It is absolutely beautiful. Too bad she has only slept about 4 hours in the crib since she was born. She has acid reflux and still sleeps in her bouncer.
I have the same changing table and the standard Eastside crib in white. I love it so much! My sister liked it too and ended up buying the crib and changing table in cherry- she's due right around the same time as you.
