kinda BR: Help me find a rug?!?
Ok so I know there are a bunch of nesties on here that are great with decorating.... I suck at it. I need some help finding a rug for our nursery. The space for the rug is pretty small- I am thinking a round rug or nothing bigger then a 4x6, 5x7 tops. I would like to keep it reasonably priced. Bonus points for under $50.
and.... GO!
Oh yeah, the walls are gray with white trim. Crib and dresser are white. The chair in the room has a red cushion. We plan on doing mainly red accents. Here is the bedding. It has red, gray, chocolate brown, aqua, and navy.

We have a light brown hardwood floor. Sorry forgot to mention that
And thanks! We actually won it when I went to Ellen while pregnant with Owen. we already had bedding so it got stored away. The only downside is that it is Dwell Studio, so everything made for it it super expensive.
I think I would stick with a red rug since the skirt is blue, gray walls, brown floors and you have the red cushion on the chair already.
Let me see if I can find anything online. I got SUPER lucky and got my 5x7 rug for our nursery at the PB outlet at Christmas time. They have a TON there. It might be worth a drive up to see what they have.
I would go with red too.
Gibralter in Mt Clemens has an area rug section. I'm sure they have red ones there under $50.
I was thinking red at first too, but the room is so small it almost feels like the red rug would be right under/next to the red chair. I was worried about matching colors and it looking funny? But again I suck at decorating which is why I came here lol.
LOL you really want to know? Here is the list from what I can remember. I am probably forgetting stuff.
-Stainless steel "soundless" dishwasher, graco lauren crib, mattress, uppa baby vista stroller, chicco keyfit carseat, 6 months worth of huggies pure/natural diapers, dwell studio bedding, digital camera, baby monitor, diaper bag, basket of bath items, ambajam stroller blanket, calender necklace, shutterfly gift card.
There might be more, but I think that was most of it. It was insane. I still have a hard time believing that I was there. This baby is lucky enough to get to use the crib and bedding since Owen didn't use it, so Ellen is the gift that keeps on giving haha.
So...jealous. haha! How awesome is that?!
Ditto! How did you get on the show Lauren?
Regarding the rug, maybe a light blue? I think it would look nice w/ the gray walls and I like light blue and red together so if the chair is close to or on the rug that might look nice.
