Just in case Chance weren't making life interesting enough with a possible hip issue and life in general with a newborn, I think he may have some sort of reflux. I notice it at night mostly because during the day I hold/wear him a lot, so he's upright after feedings. At night, I want to go back to sleep, so lay him down in the PNP. he grunts, burps, and makes spit up noises without there really being spit up and sounds like he's in a bit of pain (not really pain, but definitely not comfy!). So I have to hold him for another 20-30 minutes. Last night I stacked stuff under his mattress so he slept at an incline, and that helped a bit. He has a hip check appt next week, so I'll mention it to the pediatrician for sure then, but until then, any words of advice? William never had this issue, so I'm at a loss!

Re: baby reflux?
Just lurking here, but FWIW...the nap nanny is great for babies with reflux. However your comment about "it fits in the PNP" is slightly off. If you read any of the material that comes with it, or on the Nap Nanny website, it is considered safe for floor use only. Using inside a PNP or crib could cause injury. I wouldn't want your LO to get hurt from misuse....just passing along info. Good Luck
