I have to cry to you all. I was eating lunch and all of a sudden there was something crunchy. I pulled out the crunchy piece and lo and behold it was my effing tooth. Yup, my back molar cracked and I now have a chunk of tooth on my desk and a hole in my mouth. Luckily my dentist got me in at 2, but I'm still in excrutiating pain and I'm afraid to drink water or take any pain meds because of the potential pain. This sucks. I literally burst into tears...at work.

Re: Day from hell....
oh lord! that is awful.
i hope you get fixed up real quick!
Shelia that is horrible!!! I have done that before and its not fun! Good Luck!!
oh no, you have had a rough 7 days....hopefully the dentist will get everything fixed & you'll be out of pain soon!
Ouch! Luckily this happened at lunch at not at night. I suggest holding off on the pain pill. Water will not feel good. (I lost part of my tooth before and it killed)
The dentist will put a temp tooth in for now and you'll be good to go soon!!
You poor thing. That sounds awful!
That totally sucks, but ditto everyone - thankfully you were able to get in today!
The same thing happened to me exactly one year ago (I only remember because it was on my mom's birthday as we were headed out the door to a wedding...) I still haven't gotten it fixed though, since it's not bothering me.
I fear I'll be in your situation before too long though, only because I put off fixing it!
Oh no! I worry that this will happen to me.
( I've had 3 molars get little chips in them over the past couple years, and it makes me so paranoid!
I hope they fix it fast for you!!
