We grocery/cleaning shop at Target - I need to know what dish soap (Dawn for example) and shampoo would be the greenest available at Target. I know we could go more green but for right now, I am just wanted to be green-er than we are now.
I appreciate any rec's you can provide! Thanks!

Re: Green living via Target?
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
Dish soap - we use Seventh Generation free and clear. Target carries a huge bottle of it.
Hand soap - I use Method lemongrass kitchen hand wash in the kitchen and Seventh Generation free and clear in the bathroom.
Shampoo - Target carries Yes To Carrots. L'Oreal also makes a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner called EverStrong Hydrate, and it's supposed to be a bit more 'natural' than other brands.
Detergent - Seventh Generation.
Target also carries Dr. Bronner's liquid castille soap, which I like to use for cleaning. Mix with water and you've got a great spray. Mix with a little baking soda and you've got a great paste to scrub with.
99% of my cleaning is done with vinegar, water, baking soda and Dr. Bronner's castille soap all of which can be purcahsed at Target.
Ditto to what most people have said! I think Target is a great place to find affordable green products.
For laundry detergent, I prefer Method over Seventh Generation, mainly because their packaging is so much smarter - they have a very compact bottle with a pump, which is much less messy than the conventional laundry detergent packaging. Even though its smaller, it lasts just as long because it's nicely concentrated.
I love Method everything, to be honest. Mrs. Meyers is great for hand soap, too. Smells great!
For everyday cleaning, I agree with what PP said - I use Dr. Bronners with vinegar, and I've heard Borax helps as well (though I haven't tried it, so I don't know if its available at Target!).
Shampoo--Yes to [Carrots, Cucumbers, etc], Alba, etc. They have a whole section dedicated to "natural beauty" at the Target near me.
Hope that helps!
Ditto PP on biokleen for dish detergent. We tried all the other brands ya'll listed in our sh!tty dishwasher and only biokleen works. We love Dr. Bronners too.
