Anyone have an amazing sangria recipe?
Preferably red
TIA!
Re: Anyone have an amazing sangria recipe?
I don't, but now I want one!
Try the cooking board, too.
1 bottle of red wine
1 cup peach brandy
1 cup peach shnapps (sp?)
1 cup sugar
1 2 liter bottle of lime soda
Chopped fruit (I used apples, not sure it was the best choice)
Put the wine, brandy, shnapps, fruit and sugar together and let it sit over night. The next day add the lime soda and enjoy!
The lady that gave me this recipe calls it the "no hangover no headache" drink. It was really sweet, but I enjoyed it. Good luck!
This is my go-to:
Blackberry Sangria
1 750ml bottle of red zinfandel
2 cups diet lemon-lime soda
1/2 cup orange juice
4 1/2 teaspoons sugar
blackberries
Mix wine, soda, juice, and sugar together until dissolved. Place 4-6 berries in a glass and fill with sangria.
You could also substitute raspberries, blueberries, or peach slices for the blackberries. Enjoy!

This is a STRONG recipe... but so so good!
Carlo Rossi Merlot
1/2 Q Brandy
1/2 Q Trip Sec
1/2 Q Rum
What ever fruit you may like...apples, oranges, berries, grapes, peaches, etc
Let it sit for ~one week (this is the KEY to making sangria)....tastes like juice
