What would YOU (adult) wear to a Fancy Nancy party?
Everyone (grandparents, Aunts) is supposed to come dressed for Fancy Nancy themed party. What would you wear, especially if you don't want to spend $$$? tia

An "easter-type" dress (bright colors or flowers on it) with some gloves if you have any and a huge pearl or beaded long necklace. And then a fun hat, if you have one!
I don't know who Fancy Nancy is. I'm not inclined to look it up. I won't spend money on clothes for a kid's party. I'd wear whatever I wanted.

I had no idea who Fancy Nancy was until I googled. It looks like a little girl who plays dress-up...?
If so, buy some cheap plastic bead pearls, a boa and wear your craziest heels and fluffiest party dress. Some colored crinoline could sub for a party skirt pretty cheaply.
