Re: GTKY monday?
I spent 4 years not saying how I felt to a guy in high school. There was so much back and forth and flirting and neither of us ever got up the guts to say anything real or make a move.
I went to HS senior prom by myself, he took a girl from outside the school. She was horrible kept flirting with other people. Finally she left early. I wanted to go over to him and ask him to dance and I just couldn't get up the courage. I was frozen.
I left with my friends and he was still there. I decided that I couldn't leave without trying. But the hotel had shut down the elevators and the escalators were all set to head downstairs. I should have just run up the down escalators or found the emergency stairs, but I didn't. I chickened out and never did it.
It was like some John Hughes movie gone wrong.
Next question: What is the most joyful moment in your life?
**What is the most joyful moment in your life?**
I know this is cliche, but it's true...it was my wedding weekend. It was so amazing because it was literally all the people we loved the most in the world, all together for a whole weekend. It was full of food, fun, and there was no drama! I literally would not change a thing.
We've had some amazing moments since then, and I hope we continue to build new memories (I imagine if we have kids, those moments will totally eclipse the wedding!) but for now that is the first thing that comes to mind.
Next question: What is something you've always wanted to do, but never have...and what's been stopping you?

What is something you've always wanted to do, but never have...and what's been stopping you?
I've always wanted to travel abroad. Pretty much all of Europe and some of Africa (Morocco, South Africa and now Seychelles)...but, unfortunately, money is stopping us...ooh and now an infant. lol I guess we could have cut back on a Disney trip or 2, but who doesn't love Disney? lol Maybe in the future we will venture out more.
Next Question: If you could have a super power, what would it be and why?
To eat *anything* and not exercise and look like a supermodel.
**How do you save money in these trying times?**

Finally! A Married Bio!!
we go out to eat and drink less...instead, we cook with our friends at one of our homes, or hang out in prospect park with a bottle of wine.
next question: if you are from "elsewhere," (like me!) what brought you to NYC? or, if you are a life-long new yorker, why did you choose to stay?
Emerald Nuts Midnight Run (4m) 1/1/12
Coogan's Salsa, Blues, and Shamrocks Run (5k) 3/4/12
Colon Cancer Challenge (15k) 4/1/12
Purple Stride NYC (5k) 4/21/12

Life long NY'er here! Choose to stay because (1) all my family and friends are here and (2) it's the greatest city in the world. People move from all over just to live here. So why would I leave!?! (DH is pushing us to move to Cali, where he is from, but I am resisting with all my might....)
Next Question - are you happy in your current career? If not, what would you rather be doing? If so, is this what you always pictured you'd be doing?
