We have a few bare spots in our yard, where grass just isn't growing well.
Last year, H placed some type of seed down, but it didn't work, and ended up making those spots look sort of white. Can you recommend an enviro safe alternative?
My yard would look amAzing, if not for the bare spots.

Re: Grass Help
Any idea why the seed didn't work?
"An environmentally safe" alternative to what? Grass?
Scotts has an online diagnoser that can tell you what's wrong. Sometimes bare patches can be caused by fungi and insects, if it's not something obvious like too much shade or too little water.
Have you used a bare spot repair mixture? Some variety of this will be sold near you that's appropriate for your climate and turf. A product like this has always been a winner for us for just regular bare spots.
