Hi! My husband and I recently took in a homeless hound mix to foster because he was being taken to the pound. He is the sweetest dog! We took him to the vet to get all his shots and an overall check up. He came back with a clean bill of health! We can't keep him, we already have two dogs, and live in a small apartment.
We named him Clyde. He is a hound mix, white with brown spots. The vet said he is about 18months old and 50 pounds. She did not think he would get any bigger, and that 50-55 pounds was the "ideal" weight range for him. He is house broken now, walks well on a leash, does great with both kids and other dogs. My husband and I both work during the day, so he is in the house with the other dogs for about 7-8 hours and as long as he has his Kong, he does perfectly! He is not yet fixed, but if need be, we would be willing to help with the costs or get him fixed for his new home. We are Knoxville, but would be willing to bring him wherever his forever family lives.
Please help us get him a home! Feel free to message me or comment on this post so I can send pictures and more info!
Thanks!
