Diapers.com rave/fed ex rant
I ordered the britax advocate CS in cowmooflage (for my cowboy husband) yesterday. Got $150.00 off the price and It was overnighted for free. When it got here, delivered by a fex ex guy, riding around in a budget truck, the box was completely mangled.
Tape was half off, top flaps were separated from the rest of the box and one side was caved it. The guy rang the doorbell and by the time I could corral my two beastly dogs, he was in his truck and long gone.
I called diapers.com and the guy could not have been nicer. Apologized 1000 times, is sending ups out to pick it up and send me a new one, will be here tomorrow. Customer service COULD NOT have been nicer or better.
I wasn't crazy for calling for a new one, was I? I mean, it could have gotten pretty beaten up, no?
One other question - when you bought your convertible car seat, inside of the box surrounding the car seat, was there any card board, bubble wrap..anything to protect it??

I recently ordered a Britax Marathon for my Sister in Law, and it arrived in the same condition!!!
I didn't send it back though...maybe I should have??!! I just checked to make sure everything that was needed was there and the carseat looked fine. There was no bubble wrap or any type of packing either. It came from Babies R Us, but I ordered it online and had it shipped since they were having a free shipping promotion, i figured I might as well.
I got my Britax Boulevard from Amazon.com and I don't remember it arriving in that condition.
Yeah, it's L shaped.
