s/o sammiches

Does anyone add chips to their sandwiches?  I love adding regular or BBQ chips to my sandwiches.

I'm going to open a sandwich shop and each sandwich will have a different kind of chip on it; plain, BBQ, salt & vinegar, jalapeno, etc....would anyone come and enjoy my delicious sandwiches?  Or does that sound disgusting? lol

Re: s/o sammiches

  • That is yummy. My coworker introduced me to that a while back. Specially Jimmy Johns' sammihces are awesome with the chips.

Sometimes I like to put plain potato chips in my peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.  We used to do it as kids and sometimes I still do it. Smile

  • If I eat a tuna sandwich, I add pretzels to it. My brother got me hooked on that when we were kids.
  • the only time i do something like that is with peanut butter... then i like cheerios etc on them.

  • It's one of the only ways I will eat a sandwich.  I really can't stand regular sliced bread and lunch meat. If I do eat a sandwhich, I need to change the texture. So chips, or really thick bread is the only way I can do it.

I do like grilled cheese, pb&j, chicken salad, etc. It's just the lunch meat that does me in.

I know!  I'm hungry now and all I have is some weird organic yogurt in the fridge lol.

  • Oh yum!  I would definitely eat there!
  • Now I want chips.  Yum!

  • I get the idea, but I just can't do it.  I don't like hard crunchy things hiding inside my food (for the same reason I don't mix tortilla chips into my taco salad), because inevitably as I'm chewing I bite just the right way and stab a chip shard into my gums.  ::shudder::

LMAO - the sharp pieces are lurking....waiting to get you!

FWIW that is the worst feeling ever when a chip stabs you in the gum. I typically only eat PB&Js and I've never added chips. Although I love the idea of pretzels on a tuna sandwich.

    Yes

  • I am going to have to try the pretzels on my tuna fish sandwiches. I usually do fritos. I also like plain lays on my PB&J and I like dill midget pickles as a side.
