Hi gals,

I'm sorry for just writing in now. Unfortunately we had a horrendous family emergency- my husband's brother got into a fatal car accident back home, so I had to leave town urgently. I've returned to Dallas, praying that his brother pulls through the surgeries and makes some recovery. Again, I'm very sorry for missing the g2g, as I was eager to meet y'all and put some faces to the names. I hope there's another one in the near future.

Thank you everyone. I really appreciate the kindness. It is definitely times like this when I realize just how far away from family I really am! Still strange that I can't just say, "hold on, I'm getting in the car, be right there." 

I'm heading back north again this weekend to see my husband and family. I hope things have improved.
