Anniversary Trip HELP!

I just moved to Oregon a few months ago and I really need help planning a fun anniversary date/trip! I am thinking a dinner cruise date, a couples massage, or a fun get-a-way type thing. Anyone have any helpful ideas for me?! I want to have an experience rather than buying a gift, I just don't know any of my options since I am such a new Oregonian! Any help would be wonderful!!

Re: Anniversary Trip HELP!

  • The cruise on the Portland Spirit is pretty awesome.  You can do dinner or brunch.  There's also one on the sternwheeler, in the gorge.  Both can be found at this website http://www.portlandspirit.com/

For a couple's massage, we've always gone to Dosha.  The Hawthorne location can do both people at the same time in the same room, and we've liked the experience for the most part.

  • We stayed here for an anniversary and loved it:

I've never done the river cruise but have always wanted to.  We've done them in other cities and they're awesome.

  • We just had our anniversary and did a coast trip to Lincoln City.  We stayed at the Coho Lodge, did their romance package and did a couples massage.  It was super relaxing, and we got to do lots of exploring and activities.  They have jacuzzi tubs in the rooms that you can see the ocean from.  It was definitely a wonderful and relaxing trip.  Hope that helps :)  Also,  happy anniversary!
