The school budgets were voted on yesterday, and ours passed by a wide margin, which means that I get to keep my job! Ladies, thank you for the support. I posted about this way back in February but these past few months have been very stressful.
Oh, and we've decided to go ahead with the house - so long as we get the FULL electrical credit. Thanks for being such an AMAZING sounding board!

Whew!!! I'm so glad for you that everything worked out!! As someone who lost a job because of the school's budget, I know how stressful the last month or two has been for you!!

That sucks about your school budget. How many votes did it fail by, and do you think they're going to resubmit the same budget or make some big cuts?

It failed 673-480. We haven't gotten word yet as to what the next step is. I know they will definitely be decreasing the budget before sending it back for vote, I just don't know by how much.
