I am wondering if anyone could recommend a good website to use to look up descriptions of plants (perrenials, bushes, trees) with pictures? I have a great book at home that I use, but would like a go to online resource. TIA!
Re: website?
The problem is that not all websites agree on the information they publish... information you need to know. One will say a plant gets 4' tall, another will say 6'. One will say full sun, another will say sun to part shade.
I think it's best to google the name of the plant (in Latin, as soon as you figure out what the Latin name is) and read the info from multiple sources. I also like looking at multiple images from different websites.
Sunset.com has a plant finder on their site, but if you don't live in the West, then you should probably find a better regional resource.
