What is the silliest/craziest/most embarrassing thing you've ever returned to a store?

Re: QOTD #2
When I was about 10 years old, I bought a hamster at Meijer for $4.99. I named him "Hammy". He never did quite "act right" and he died 4 days later. My Dad put him in a ziploc, then in a shoebox, and buried him in the backyard. My Mom decides that we should go back to Meijer and demand a refund. Even at the age of 10, I knew that this was a bad idea and I was mortified. She called the store and they said "sure, no problem, just BRING IT BACK IN."
So my Dad was forced to dig the darn thing back up and take it back to Meijer. Thinking about this now, I find it comical that this whole thing was my Mom's great idea, and yet my Dad had to do all the dirty work and look like the moron bringing it back to the store. Classic.
The surprising thing is that even though we were both really embarrassed to be bringing a dead hamster back, the customer service person didn't even bat an eyelash. I remember my Dad kinda' making a joke about how they probably don't get too many dead animals brought back, and the guy just laughed and said that people bring back dead $0.25 fish all the time.
We did end up getting a replacement hamster which I named Sammy. He lived for quite a while.
a toilet seat. We got a toilet seat as a wedding gift (yes as a wedding gift- not a shower gift, wedding gift from a family of 4, immediate relatives). We used it for 2 days and the seat cracked. I was pissed so i took it back to BBB. I cleaned it VERY well before I took it and i made it very clear that it was used. They had no problems with us exchanging it for another one. the replacement was & is just fine (still using it) so we think it must have had some sort of a hairline crack or something that turned into a full blown crack after use.
