Grrr...Argh.

So did you guys see this (clicky) article about Dominique Strauss-Kahn?

Evidently you have to be attractive/seductive to be raped. Yuck!

Re: Grrr...Argh.

  • It's disturbing that some people think that way.  The comments are pretty interesting though.

Funny: "I love the fact that he was The Front runner for the SOCIALIST Party staying in a 3,000 a night room and flying home first class. maybe socialism is the way to go."

Serious: "I am French, raised partly in the US, and I can tell you that the American media is only reporting the reaction of the socially-inbred media/showbiz/political "elites" in Paris. If you read French blogs, you will see that true French people in the heartland (and even some in Paris) are elated to see a country where "equality" actually means something, and is not just a slogan from the Revolution. So, CNN, please ignore the media clown Bernard-Henri L?vy who pretends to admire America but loves to condescend to teach it lessons. He and others like him only represent a small elitist segment of France, and does not represent me or millions of others in this "Festival of Kahn", and does not share our morals and values any more than most Americans shared the morals of Clinton. Ultimately, the treatment of DSK is a good lesson for France and will hopefully shake things up."

  • WTF?? That's some sick sh!t.  Yet had this poor woman been attractive/seductive, then the haters would be saying she "asked for it".  ugh.
  • WTF.  We just has a similar debate at work.  Someone mentioned a local girl that went missing and another woman said "well she's blonde hair blue eyes and petite so she likely just ran off with her boyfriend and if not, that's the kind of girl that gets taken" FORRREAL!!

Sh!t hit the fan because no one could believe she said that.. and the woman kept saying, oh you know you all think the same thing.

    Umm wow.
