Oven Cleaners?

DH decided to try his hand at cooking and spilled stuff all over the bottom of the oven. What do you use? I've got some oven cleaner, but I'd rather do something without the fumes and natural! Any suggestions?

Re: Oven Cleaners?

  • Mix baking soda with water to make  a thick paste, smear it all over the oven, let dry overnight, scrub clean in the morning. This works way better than any oven cleaner I have used it is time consuming but worth it.

  • Similar to PP, I sprinkle a thick layer of baking soda all over the oven then spray water/vinegar mixture until it's soaked. Wait 2 hours and soak again then let it sit overnight. Then scrub clean in the morning. Worked like a charm and w/out all the nasty toxic fumes :)
