Re: Thursday Randoms
My ultrasound is at 10:50.
Ironically, I am not in pain today. Just dry heaving like a motha'.
I literally LOL'd when someone congratulated you on your FB status. Funny stuff.
Anyway, hope you're able to get some answers today!
She totally got the side eye from me, haha! I couldn't tell if she was serious or joking.
Hope that you get some answers today. When did the dr finally call back?
Ya! Hope you get some answers today!
Glad you are not in pain, but sorry about the dry heaving. That's no fun.
I hope they see exactly what they need to in order to get you fixed up!!
I think the absence of pain is due to the absence of food in my body. I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday. If that's all it takes, then maybe I should just keep my gallbladder and quit eating ~ I'll be skinny in no time.
Good luck, D&M!
I have the distinct (di-stinky?) pleasure of collecting a poo sample and taking my loose-boweled dog to the vet at noon. He hasn't been normal since Monday, when he left a gigantic heap of poop in the upstairs, something he hasn't done (and never of that magnitude) since we got him 5 years ago, despite feeding him rice and pumpkin and all the other good-gut things I've used on him before.

Did you respond with, "Thanks!! It's a gallbladder!! We're so excited!!"
I just guffawed so loud, DS (who is watching Handy Manny) turned around and said, "WHAT?"

I hope all goes well at the doc - for both DM and your dog GRK!
I totally would have used that response if I didn't mention in the original status that it was a gallbladder. My status was something like "U/S tomorrow am to determine if gallbladder is a boy or a girl.
"
And her response was "Oh congrats!!"
Thanks! He's more cooperative on a walk now that we use a pinch collar. And of course, when I take him with me on a run (or long walk), he's much calmer afterwards.
He's getting a *little* better at his freakouts around other dogs or from the front window where he watches life go by.

Sorry he is going through a rough time. Hope he feels better and you see even more improvements.
So I'm pretty sure I have the cutest little neighbor. Our dog ran over to the neighbor's house while they were outside, so I walked over there to get her. Cute little neighbor (she's 2 1/2) runs up to me, puts her hands on my tummy and says "Hi Baby Cole" and runs away. Her dad was also telling me a story of her taking her craft paper to wrap her books and when dad asked her who she was wrapping them for, she said "Baby Cole". Too.cute.
That is adorable.
Have you decided on a name yet?
Nope. She won't officially be named until she's born.
What did you get for your birthday?
Wow usually you arent supposed to go to work from what I hear about gallbladder surgery. So what did they say? And what is a gallbladder for anyways? LOL. Sorry for the questions.
Well, I'm still waiting for the surgery. I might as well work while I'm not in pain.
Holy cow! Good luck - in surgery and in recovery!
