Does anyone know of any in the Baltimore County White Marsh Area that are still accepting participants?

Re: CSA's
I've found this website to be a good resource for CSAs: http://www.marylandagriculture.info/category_info.cfm?categoryid=46
You can sort by county but take into account that some farms may not be located in your county (and therefore won't show up when search) but have pick-up locations there. Most of the deadlines are long past but you never know if they didn't fill up their share spots. Plus, some farms divide their CSAs into 2 or 3 seasons so you may still be on time for a summer or fall share.
Good luck!

Most CSAs will run between $20-$35 per week for a full share of mostly veggies, maybe some fruit. If you start to add in bread, a full fruit share, eggs, honey, etc it will get more expensive. There's one in My Airy I drool over because they include all that plus cut flowers, vinegars and more but it's crazy expensive.
$300-$500 is reasonable if you're talking about 10-20 weeks.

All up front. We usually write the check and let it come from the cushion we have in our checking account, then I deduct the amount from our monthly budget (ours is $25 a month so, for a month with 4 pick-up days, I'd account for $100 of our food budget as being from the CSA). I only mention this because this is how we keep from totally overspending on food since the money is all out up-front--by the time the CSA is over, we're back to the regular cushion in the account.
