SitterCity/looking for a sitter
Another recommendation, sorry.
I'm looking for a sitter for a few different events that DH & I have plus date nights. We're still kinda new to South County and all the babysitter-aged kids we know work for us at the stores. DH isn't really a fan of bringing employees into our home. Has anyone used SitterCity.com? Know of anyone looking for a babysitting position?
TIA!

You could try New England Nannies based out of Barrington.
We used sittercity.com and had a great experience with it! We placed an ad and had a huge amount of responses so we took the time weeding through them. We ended up interviewing 3 girls and we love the one that we decided to go with. Logan lights up whenever she sees her which help!
I would say its worth the money to find someone.
We lucked out and had great babysitters this year. We live in Newport and our tenants were Salve Nursing students. Luckily, they got friends to move in next year, so we're covered.
I would recommend seeing if URI has a board in the nursing or education departments that you could post on. I know I plan on doing it through Salve again if we ever run out of good tenants!!!
Good luck!
