Please pass the word: mini dobie needs a home

image

My parents found this little guy running around their neighborhood and have him on their porch. They've looked high and low for his owners, put out ads and contacted area vets, checked to see if he has a chip (no), and looked for signs (none). They've contacted rescue organizations as well in case they can't find the owners or a home. The regular doberman org can't take him because he's a mini (but not a toy, which is half that size even still). He is full grown.

He's neutered and very sweet, high energy, doesn't yap a lot. If you or someone you know would like to adopt him, please let me know. They have 2 cats and can't really accommodate another animal in their small house.

  • OH MY he is SO cute. Excuse me while I go beg DH.

Side note: I initially typed "bed" instead of "beg". Although, bedding him make work just as effectively in this situation.

  • If it wouldn't put us over the adult hands to dog/children ratio, I'd totally take him. Apparently 4 of any combo is my limit :(

I shall ask around though! And kudos to Crazy for taking care of him in the interim!

  • LMAO. New information: a  friend just suggested that he may be a Manchester Terrier. My parents' vet said mini doberman, but Google pics suggest my friend could be right.

  • Mini pins aren't a type of doberman, they are their own separate breed. But he is oh-my-gosh adorable! I hope they find a home for him soon.

  • So freaking cute!!!!

If we didn't already have 3 dogs and a baby on the way I would so take that little guy. I think my chihuahua would freak out with another small dog and a baby.

  • Poor baby, he's very lucky your parents found him. I reposted on FB for you.

  • He looks like a mini-doberman.  I had one years ago.  She was evil.  Truly.  Not to say this guy is, but I'm now biased.

ANYWAY, I hope they can find a home for him quickly!
