WooHoo! Finally able to plant!

I was so excited yesterday - I finally have about 1/2 my garden in the ground.

We have had so.much.rain that the ground was just soggy - and I still needed to till the compost in too.

Saturday was finally dry, so we tilled the whole thing yesterday, put down the landscape fabric for the pepper/tomato area, put up the tomato fences.  I planted all but 2 squash plants, carrots (orange & purple), radishes, and several lettuces.

Since it's so late, I don't think I'm even going to worry about peas & beans since I think it will be too hot before they're ready.

This week I'm buying about 12 tomato & 6 pepper plants to go in.  (I killed all the seedlings)
