"Must Play" Wedding Songs

My fiance and I are starting a list of our "Must Play" Songs... we just thought some outside opinions would be helpful. So ladies what would you suggest for "must plays" at a wedding?

Re: "Must Play" Wedding Songs

  • Congrats on you're upcoming wedding! I think it depends on what kind of theme/tone you want to set. I wanted a variety of music so that guests of all ages could enjoy. I just googled top hits of each decade and chose songs from there. Good luck and congrats again!

  • I agree with what pp said, for us we had a couple songs that we HAD to have played.  For example growing up my dad sister and I would ALWAYS dance and rock out to "Your Mama Don't Dance" and so it was a must play for us so if you have anything like that then I would def say play it but other then that we just told our DJ to mix it up so that every age group would feel comfortable getting out on the dance floor.

  • I also agree that it depends on the mood you want to set, but one of my favorite songs played at my wedding was Michael Buble singing "Hold On." Listen to it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICDTVunkf6I Best of luck on your song list, and congrats on your wedding!
