Crate and Barrel Furniture
I can't remember if I've asked this on this board yet but..would you buy dressers from Crate and Barrel? We really want new dressers for our bedroom and they have a armoire/dresser set that we love. I'm just hestitant. Its obviously cheaper than going to a furniture store like Gamburgs/Faceras but its pricier than Ikea. We just haven't had any luck at any furniture stores finding anything we like.
Just curious if anyone has anything from there and do you like it? I have a coffee table and I like it but it scratched easily (granted it gets a lot of use).

We have a coffee table from there (it's a big trunk) and love it. It's solid wood. I think it's hit or miss though. Some things are solid wood and others have veneers (and they charge just as much as solid wood).
I posted a while ago about furniture stores...we're having a hard time finding things we like too. We may get a dresser and bed from Room & Board. It's a little more than we want to spend but it's solid wood and not that much more $ than Raymour & Flanigan (and I thought their bedroom furniture was iffy - it felt cheap). I wonder if we have the same coffee table? Everything in the furniture stores remind me of things our parents would have in their bedroom. Its really annoying. And then I do find something I like and it only comes in white.

I never looked at their furniture, but I found a set that I love. Now I want it.
Beagle, me too. I just looked for the first time and like a dining room set they have. It's 1000 bucks. Though it seems like a lot of money, it's probably good stuff that will last a long time. So, we'll see.
