  • Honestly, it doesn't bother me.  She claims they pay for their own stuff.  I know plenty of people are much older, livin off the gov, and continue to have kids.  If I got KU at a young age, and was doing OK for myself, I'd want to have more kids soon too.  I wouldn't want a huge age gap between my kids.

  • Ditto what Molly said.

  • It doesn't bother me. It seems like she has her act together and the relationship is solid. Why not?

  • I don't necessarily have a problem with her having more kids at a young age. I don't know her whole story but I would hope that she has at least has finished high school or equivalency before having more children. Many relationships do not last and she may need to support herself and her children financially in the future.  Even when marriages last sometimes women need to go to work because their husbands lost their jobs or money is otherwise tight. It is great that they are set for now financially but I'm just hoping that she is employable in the future if/when she needs to work.

Also, I'm not sure when they are paid for the show but that money may not be a permanent source of income so I'd be hesitant about basing finances around how things are right now. And I think at a young age it can be difficult to manage finances appropriately. Hopefully she is getting good advice/support.

agreed. if they are really paying for their own stuff (and we know they have MTV money) i have no problem with it. I am glad they are married and happy and i hope they stay that way.

If what she said about supporting themselves is true, then I am completely OK with it.  There are plenty of people who aren't teenagers who can't say the same.

Now if Jenelle were pregnant again, I'd have a different opinion...

  • Agree with what Molly said.

I forget her name, but there was another girl from the show who married her boyfriend.  They both wanted to join the Air Force, but only one of them was allowed to.  The dad ended up joining and she became a SAHM.  During a update special, they were showing how she was planning to have another baby.  So she's not the first.  As long as they're happy and capable of raising another baby, both emotionally and financially
