When did you start using an anti-nausea medicine during your pregnancy if you had to use one, what are the pros and cons, and worries with using them...
I know, totally crazy post, I just wanted to be informed before I was given an option.
Re: Phenergen or Zofran
I tried everything imaginable with Katen's pregnancy and finally after losing 19lbs moved to zofran. I believe that pheregran is a class C drug and zofran is A or B. Zofran took the edge off for me enough to make it to work each day.
With Ana's pregnancy I was able to tough it out but I wasn't working either.
Tash and Victoria, just asking to let a pal know. I took Phenergen for a while and don't remember side effect of the drug on the baby.
I took zofran so I could make it through the workday without throwing up. I was more worried about becoming dehydrated than taking the drug.
Phenegren can make you very sleepy, where zofran doesn't.
