question and apology...

Do you know of anyone who needs a temporary room? We have an apartment in Tigard and are a little short for next months rent. They must love animals. We have two cats, a beagle and a snake.

I would also like to apologize for hating on NE Portland, I am new to the area and have not been to all parts of Portland. I was going off what people said instead of my own experience.

Re: question and apology...

  • First off, no worries on the hate. When we first moved here, several people told us Hillsboro was this violent ghetto, lol! I think some parts of NE get a bad rap, but some are nice, like the shops in Alberta.

Secondly, are you short on funds because you're having a hard time finding a job? I work in HR and might be able to help. You can PM me if you'd like to :)

  • No worries about the hate for the NE.  It's easy to assume that one area of NE (though the areas mentioned in previous posts are not what I would consider NE portland at all but more NE suburbs) might mean all of NE if you are new.  I would really encourage you to explore NE portland especially alberta arts district and fremont.  just lovely.

I'm no help on anyone needing a roommate in Tigard though.  sorry.

I will have to make a friend and explore those areas.

  • I was looking for a temporary living situation, but found something.  DH and I looked on craigslist everyday.  I would suggest posting there.  ;)
