Anyone ever been?  Is it kid friendly?  We are thinking of going this weekend.

I went a few years back and LOVED it.  There were kids everywhere.  People that work there also walk around with animals.  I don't know about prices because I was dating a guy who worked there at the time.  But I thought it was very laid back.  We stayed there pretty much all day and it all was pretty calm too, no fights or anything and security is pretty good.

We are going this year.  If your a Zoo member you can currently get tickets at $30, but if your not a member tickets are $45. We ended up buying tickets when they were $25. I'm really excited about going. It's been a few years since we've been, (actually we went when they were handing out tickets to each brewery). Lines were long by the end of the day. We've decided not to take A. Figured DH and I would like to hang out with some friends, without having to worry about chasing after a 19 month, it gets very crowded.

We went when DD #1 was an infant. We havent been back. It was WAY too crowded. IMO there were way too many drunk people around for it to be kid friendly. It would be similar to taking your kid  to a bar. They have also hiked the price way up since the last time that we have been.
