Has anyone used Tours By Locals to book a guide?
I'm going to Moscow and I was thinking to use them to book a private guide (as I've heard that it will make the trip more interesting - not a lot of info/signage in English).
Anyway, I just wanted to see if anyone had used the company (any city) and whether or not it was a good experience, or if I should look elsewhere.
The person I am thinking of hiring has a Russian tour guide license (so I don't think just a random local) and some good reviews. It is somewhat less expensive to contract independently through TBL rather than the big state agency, but I'd rather have the best tour regardless of cost.
