How clean is it on the outside and in? How often do you clean it?

My car is disgusting inside and out. Right now the outside is covered with pollen and dead bugs. The inside is filled with dog hair and other debris.

Not clean at all. I get embarrassed when I have to drive people places. In fact, cleaning it is on my to-do list for the weekend.

The outside is not bad, but do I wash it? No I let the rain take care of that problem. As for the inside, it's well covered in dog hair (on the floor and very back) and puffs. I do empty the trash out of those doors though. I've been meaning to clean it, but I just haven't found time. We've had the pilot for over a year and I haven't even vacuumed it yet.

Right now both cars I drive are pretty spotless on the inside, because DH cleaned them out this weekend!  He took the VW to the carwash where they do the inside and outside for $15, so it looks great. 

He & DD cleaned the inside of our wagon in prep for our vacation- he took out the carseat and vacuumed them, the seats, used wipes to clean off most of the surfaces in the car, etc. It's still dirty on the outside, but it's black so it's really not that big of a deal. 

Both cars were fairly disgusting prior to this weekend's cleanings though.

The outside is as clean as it's been in years, DH painstakingly hand-waxed it for me the other day. It looks like a new car. Before that I would wash it every couple of months and waxed it....pretty much never.

The inside is meh. No visible trash, but some of DS's toys in the backseat. Could really use a good detailing. However I have no time for that and I am too cheap to pay someone to detail it for me, so it probably won't happen.

The outside is covered in pollen but I usually take it through the car wash every two weeks or so it never gets too disgusting.  The inside isn't bad either but I also don't have kids or pets to trash it.  The only things in my car right now are 2 pillows and a blanket for our childbirth class.

DH actually cleaned his car spotless inside and out for oru anniversary - which sounded great, but then, ummmm - where's my clean car?

I'm sure the outside of my car is covered in pollen.  I don't wash cars often because it just feels like a waste.

The inside is spotless, though.  It's a brand-new car, I haven't driven it in a month, DD has only been in it twice in that timeframe, and I'm pretty anal about keeping the interior clean.  I don't detail it, but I can't stand debris and clutter.

Pretty clean I think, I haven't washed it in a long time but the rain has been rinsing it off.  I put a sheet over the backseat when I have the dog in the car and fold it over on top of itself when I take her out, so that the loose dog hair doesn't fly all over the car.  Then if I need to drive people, I just take out the sheet.  I think that I cleaned it really well (vacuumed and dusted) maybe 2 or 3 months ago.  I've had the car for less than a year, I'm trying to keep it as nice as I can for now!  My last car was a disaster, dog hair matted in the seats, trash on the floors, etc, yuck.  Trying to prevent that from happening again!

My car is pretty clean inside but outside it definitely needs a washing. I do need to vacuum it which is a simple pleasure for me--I love a freshly vacuumed anything!

Right now my car if filthy!! I usually keep it pretty clean and it's on the agenda to be cleaned this weekend. I spray it off after taking it to the beach, but it needs a good cleaning inside and out.

I try to keep my car clean on the inside but every since DH and I got married and started sharing cars, it has not been as clean as it should be...He trashes the inside and I don't care enough to keep up with it.

We hardly ever wash the outside of our cars in AK so I am just not in the habit of cleaning the outside. At all. I can't remember the last time we washed either one of ours...Oops.

Outside is good because I just washed it....  inside needs a vacuum but it's not too bad.

DH cleaned my car this weekend so it's pretty spotless.  He's super picky about our cars, so he'll clean the inside almost every weekend.  It's a tad much.

Disgusting on all counts--it's the lowest on my cleaning priority list and I only think about it when I'm in it--no cleaning while driving!

this is me too.  It's a little better now, but at my old job i tended to eat lunch sitting in my car just to get away from my desk for a bit and it accumlated all kinds of crumbs and random trash. 

Gross.

Now it's just old google map printouts and random pieces of paper.

The insides of both cars (we switch, neither car is "mine" or "his") are fairly clean - I tend to leave shoes from work in there (bc I dont wear heels when I drive) but thats about it. After a big road trip the cars will be messier but H is fairly anal about cleaning them. He washes at least one of the cars once a week.

My car is usually a mess. But DH gave me a gift card to have it detailed after I quit smoking in the car and so I did that last Spring. Since then, it's been fairly clean on the inside. I just cleaned it (well emptied it) a couple weeks ago in anticipation of installing a car seat.

DH's car we just had detailed so it looks awesome. We also did this as a sort of fresh start before installing the car seat last week. Now our kid will be free to mess up a nice clean car!

But in general, our cars are a wreck and I'm usually embarrassed to drive people in my car.

The inside is immaculate... DH and I share a car so we are pretty thoughtful about that. Plus, we are afraid of leaving things out since we have had a total of 3 break-ins with our old cars. The outside gets a little bird poop every so often, but DH washes it at work about every other week.

DH's car is relatively clean because he cleaned it before our trip.  My car is gross.  He was joking this weekend that I shouldn't get a new car because I leave French fries in mine.  It's true, I eat in it all the time and it's dirty.

Dirty inside and out, but clutter free. I really need to vacuum the car. It has all sorts of pet hair and crumbs
