Re: Hulu vs. Netfilx?
Netflix is movies and older seasons of TV shows. I use this to catch up on old seasons of shows I wanted to watch but never did, and instant movies for the kids.
Hulu Plus is current TV shows. You have a queue where you add the shows you want to watch, and the new episodes show up in there the day after they air (usually). They also have older seasons that you can search through.
I like and use them both!
I also use them both. I'm a cord cutter as of the end of last year, and I do not miss cable at all.
When it comes to TV shows, there is another difference that hasn't been mentioned. Hulu+ has commercials whereas Netflix does not. I mind the commercials on Hulu less than I did on cable -- seems there are fewer of them. There are a lot of older seasons available on Hulu as well, but I use it primarily for current seasons, preferring no commercials on Netflix when the same content is available on both.
