to know that you can check a posters IP address? Although it won't be able to tell the exact location of the poster, it can clearly show you which nestie posters share the same IP address.

every computer has a specific IP address. You can consider this a computer fingerprint. So let's imagine that my IP is 1.2.1.1. (it's not but let's pretend) ...so if I look up Littlestpea, that's exactly what I'm going to see. If I happen to create an alter-ego or a troll, then you will again see, "1.2.1.1."

Finding out an IP address is much more difficult than it sounds. I just happened to befriend someone who works with capturing online predators for the OCSD and is willing to share how to get this information. Mr. A is also working on a free software program within the OCSD that will have give everyone the capability of finding out the IP address for all posters/users and the location of the computer. This has has become an issue because apparently most jails allow internet access for their inmates and the general public should have the right to know that "user 1245" lives in a state prison.
