quick update -- UPDATED 3pm
I went in for an u/s today and found out I didn't respond to the meds (CD13 today).
IUI is cancelled and now we are waiting until after vacation to start a new cycle.
I'm so bummed. Only 4 more cycles left before we're done trying. I have a huge pit in my stomach. 
ETA: Just heard from the dr. Apparently, my LH was at 22 and ovulation is close when it is 25. She suggested lots of sex and repeat bloodwork on Saturday. FFS, I am tired of the mind games. Plus, why are all the follies still so small then??

When we switched to the new RE, we said we would do 3 clomid cycles and 3 injects cycle. I did actually take the clomid this cycle so I feel like it still counts. We have one more clomid cycle left.
I responded well to 100mg the first cycle with this RE, then in the break cycle, I ovulated without meds. Really not sure what's going on this cycle. It's possible I O'd really early, so they did b/w to find out. I'm waiting to hear back from the nurse this afternoon sometime.
I hate this shiiit.

We're old (in terms of TTC - I'm almost 32, DH is 38, and we've been trying for 31 months), so we'll take the mandatory month off between injects cycles, but that's it. So we'll do Clomid again in June, take July off for travel and then injects in August, October and December.
We've started tossing around the idea of adopting. But like the cost of IVF, I don't know if we can afford it.

that would suck if you o'd really early. were you showing any cysts? did they have you come in before CD13 (can't remember if that's in your OP or if I'm making up where you are)? If not, can you get more monitoring next month? I'm upset for you
do you think you'd be willing to foster? there's a girl on another board I'm semi-active on who's in the process of adopting her three fosters (siblings, 1 yr, 2 and 4!) but it all sounds soooooo stressful. We decided we couldn't do it for a lot of reasons.

I hope that you are able to relax and enjoy your vacation because you so deserve it. Perhaps it will take away a bit of stress for you (because shoot I don't know how all of this wouldn't be stressful) THEN maybe that little bit less stress will help you during your next cycle.

We can't foster because DH works 24hr shifts. Such crap really ... but it's too stressful I think too, so it's not something we considered. If we adopt, we will likely do domestic infant adoption. We're not 100% there yet though.
My RE (in clomid cycles) has me do OPK's CD11-14 and come in if you get a positive, or on CD14 for a follie check. I had a +OPK today (CD13) so I went in. Why I got a + with no mature follies is beyond me. Ugh.

ugh. fwiw, and i know all REs are different, our RE doesn't believe in OPKs b/c there's so much room for error (eg, you can O between tests if you surge quickly and its just measuring LH (i think) anyway). On all of our clomid cycles C went in on day 10 (i think two or three were cancelled for non-response at that point, i can't remember exactly) and then a couple more times to check progress (I went on day 13 on my natural cycle and damn near missed the window!). My insurance covered all of the bloodwork and ultasounds though, so maybe we were on the moneybags protocol...
