Props to Urban Jungle on Passyunk

this place is great.  The short of the story is that our little filbert tree given to us by Fairmount Park 2+ yrs ago croaked.  And in order to replace it, both the Penn Horticultural society and Fairmount street Tree divisions put the fear of god in you if you take matters in your own hands to obtain and plant a tree, even if you pick from their approved list.  In order to remove all of those issues, and really shortening the rest of the BS which I won't go into, we went with Urban Jungle as our contractor.  It has been a week from first exploratory phone call and by this afternoon, we just might have little Filbert removed and a brand new, hearty, strong Maple planted.  They have been a dream to work with.

Anyway, for your urban planting needs, I recommend this joint for their professionalism and customer service.

  • We also had a wonderful experience with them this spring. we had new window boxes installed with drip irrigation and they planted BEAUTIFUL boxes for us. I can't say enough about how easy and affordable they were to work with! I'm glad you had a good experience too!
