My sister and I live over 700 miles away from each other. She is getting married and I'm not able to make it to her bridal shower, because I'm due in 4 weeks. I want to do something special for her shower that I can send out to her. I need some unique gift ideas and I'm wanting something that she could have as a keepsake.
Any ideas?
Re: Bridal shower gift idea
Does she have a registry?
How aboue gorgeous glass vase? And you ask someone who IS going to the shower to put beautiful flowers in it as shower decor?
And in additional to that... a honeymoon "basket" Some of my BMs gave me the following and it was great!
For example, if she's going to a beach location, fill a nice beach tote with a sarong, underwater camera, cut flip flops, a gift certificate for photo printing for all the HM photos, gum/mints, flirty PJs, travel size SPF and lip balm, body splash, a big beach hat.
HTH!
THIS.....you can never go wrong with Things Remembered, it's my go to store.
I actually disagree. I got lots of personalized things for my wedding that just weren't my taste. I couldn't return them obviously, so they've either ended up in the trash or sitting in the garage.

I was in the same boat as you when it came to my sister's bridal shower. I sent a Tiffany vase to her and then had one of the bridesmaids pick up a bouqet of flowers for me to display it at the shower. My sister loved it.
Not sure if she's the type for this, but you could get candle stick with various taper candles to go in them for different periods of the couples life. There's a poem that goes with it. I could try to find mine (we just moved and things are still packed since we're moving again in 6 months). Or I could ask my friend to email it to me for you. Probably could find it online somewhere.
Basically you buy a nice set of candle sticks and the candles to go with it. The poem tells you to burn each candle for various things: First night in your new home, anniversary, first christmas, baby, when you fight and make up, etc.
I love it as a gift and anyone I've given it to has loved it too.

In my opinion, a spa gift basket with an assortment of spaproducts, would be an ideal and perfect gift for the bridal shower. Spa baskets arerelaxing, stress-relieving and pampering gifts and would refresh and rejuvenatethe one you gift it to. For instance, you could gift her one of theseSpa Baskets
I would suggest that you visit www.bluechopsticks.com for these spa gift baskets, they're an ideal gift for an occasion such as the bridal shower
