mold/mildew in shower tile grout
We have had one tile in our shower that has mildew around since we moved in. I have tried everything to get it out - your usual parade of bathroom cleaners, baking soda paste, oxyclean paste, hydrogen peroxide, etc. Nothing works, and I'm starting to admit defeat. Anyone have any other things I can try? FWIW the tile is ceramic/not glazed and the tile is fine, it's just the grout around it.

I wonder if Prince William and Kate are registered at Target?
Use a good cleaner with bleach, preferably a foam cleaner. Spray. Wait 10-15 minutes. It should be a lot whiter, noticeably, even without scrubbing. I have to do this to our grout every 2-3 weeks and it's still not perfect, but it's a lot better. I have also heard that making a paste with barkeepers friend works well, but make sure to keep it wet or it could scratch the tile. Just lop the paste on, wait about 10 minutes, come back, wet it down well, and wipe it off.
If all else fails you can remove some of the grout and re-grout it. I live in a rental so I have not tried this soluation yet.
