Holiday Weekend Plans?

Does anybody have fun plans this weekend?

I will probably be off work at noon or 2:00 on Friday and we're both off work on Monday. We are going down to the St. Louis area on Saturday for our annual shopping trip and are stopping at a really good BBQ place in St. Louis before heading home that evening. Thus far, we do not have any other plans, but I think some of our friends were thinking about having a cookout on Sunday or Monday, so we'll see.

Swimming at my inlaws' house!  Also, celebrating B's birthday (it is Sunday).

The hubs is away. Mom is coming to  visit and we're going to clean closets in the future nursery, she's going to help me pick out clippers and teach me how to groom Stella and we're maybe going to get our nails done and see a movie.

Can't wait!

No plans.  I have a four day weekend.  Andrew works Friday.  We have a reception to go to Friday night but that's all we have planned.  We're broke.  Andrew bought a bike (our savings account is now pitiful because of it).  He says it's an investment because the gas will be cheaper if he commutes to work on it.  I didn't fully agree with the whole idea of a bike but I don't want him resenting me for not letting him get one.  My point in all that is....he'll be sitting on it with the garage door open pretending to ride it all weekend.  He's done it the past two days already.

I have to work on Monday so no long weekend for me.

I will get paid very well for my work so that softens the blow a little bit.

Just another reminder that I need a new job asap.

I have a four day weekend too.

Saturday we are going to see a matinee of Hangover 2 and then have lunch. We will probably go to our favorite Mexican restaurant (where we had our RD) and enjoy one too many margaritas.

The rest of the weekend no big plans. Just relaxing....

Yep!  The 2 couples that we went to Boston with in November are coming out from Kansas for the weekend.  Should be fun, but forecast all of a sudden shows rain (good for the sod, bad for patio boozing), so I'm hoping the rain comes in at night so we can spend time outside during the days!

I am hopefully going on Sat to meet my sister and kids in Cedarburg, a little town with a touristy village, to look at the shops and have lunch. Hopefully it isn't cold or rainy. Brian only has Saturday off. Sun/Mon I'd like to work on the garden/flower beds, and *maybe* paint the hallway/stairwell.

And Amy just reminded my that the Hangover 2 comes out, so maybe we'll go see that too!

Ooh i'd say either go to Sal's for some awesome pizza or go to the Anvil at the winery for some yummy sandwiches!

DH's college buddies are coming Sat-Sun so I'm going to my college bff's for the day Saturday. Sunday (after the guy leave) and/or Monday we're going to go check on deals for TVs and sectionals for the basement. There's cleaning I need to do and work to do in the basement as well.

We're thinking of taking M to the zoo for the first time and we will definitely set up her kiddie pool to play in if the weather cooperates.  Oh, and we hope to paint the kitchen and do some yardwork (till our veggie garden and start planting, trim hedges, and maybe dig up a tree we don't like and plant a dogwood).  We're ambitious and probably won't get to it all.

We're going to PA tomorrow to work on the yard etc. And run some errands. Sunday we're goingto my cousin's on long island for his daughter's first birthday and a general bbq. Monday we're both off and will probably hit the dog park and go swim at the y.

we're going to the Cape - I can't wait to have a long weekend with NO WORK! 

My mom and I are going to do some shopping for maternity clothes and Tim will be playing some golf.  Other than that, I just want to relax!

The only thing we tentatively have planned is picking up my new car. (As long as GM gets their heads out of their arses. Long story)

Other than that we will be working around the house and then spend one day doing something fun. Probably go hiking where we got married or something like that.

I'm excited though for Tuesday or Wednesday (depends on the weather) my sissy and the bf are going to Vegas and my mom is watching chance so mom and babies and I are going to the zoo!

We're leaving Sunday morning for an entire week up in Glen Arbor, MI ... fun on the lake and touring wineries. Maybe a dune hike at Sleeping Bear Dunes, some kayaking ... who knows?! We rented a house with 3 other couples.

As long as I get my proposals finished up today and tomorrow I will get to enjoy the weekend. If not, I will be working some this weekend. I am looking forward to getting some stuff done around the house. My husband just finished making a desk for him. Now maybe he can clear his toys off of my "craft" table in Norah's room. If we can get that situation squared away this weekend it would be amazing!

I also hope we are able to get over to the garden to get it turned over and planted. If we don't get the produce in the ground soon we might miss our window.
