Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Thursday FFCs
Here is mine- we sponsor a bunch of mids from the USNA. Our first is graduating on Friday and I am so happy, excited and even a little proud. He truly has been a member of our family for the past 4 years. We have 4 additional mids and love 3 of them.
The youngest not so much. He is rude, ungrateful, presumptuous and annoys the crap out of us. There have been several incidents where we came away in shock by the things this kid has asked of us w/o any real thanks or apology.
I don't want to continue our relationship with him and I don't know how to break up with him.
ETA- ugh- he is im'ing me on facebook right now and wants to store a bag here. I don't want him to keep any stuff here because I don't want him ever coming to our house again!

No, officially the program is only for their first year- so truthfully we have no further responsibility to him, but we have maintained friendships w/ other mids- but I never considered our relationship with him to be a friendly one.
My FFC - Dh asked if I was having toast for breakfast and I said "No, oatmeal." So I come down stairs and DH has gotten a bowl out and SET the box of oatmeal in the bowl. I'm tired and crabby and hungry, so I freak out, yell some expletives including something along the lines of "Don't ever tell me that you are NOT helpless again. You can't even make oatmeal." DH - " I don't know how" Me - "The directions are on the back of the $@!& box!"
I'm not sure why it pisses me off so much,but if he can manage to brew beer. He can learn how to make a bowl of oatmeal. He won't even make it for himself!
