Wow! How impressive!
I'll be at the OUC - that's the half marathon I'm running. Cheer me on as I hobble across the finish line!
Seriously though, good for you! You'll love them!
Go you! I could walk all day, but running....uh uh! I'm jealous!
I was going to do the 2 miler at UCF, but i am going to be out of town
With couch 2 5k, its easy!
That's so awesome! I registered for the Princess one in March at Disney. I am training for it right now...it has always been a goal of mine and I am finally putting my mind to it!
If you have any pointers, they are MUCH appreciated!
Awesome! I just signed up for the Orange Blossom run in November! I am nervous! If I do good in this one, maybe I'll join you on 12/13!
c25k really works! i ran 3.5 miles last night for the first time in my entire life.. haha
Congrats on signing up for the races! We'll be looking forward to your results.
There's a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving in Downtown thats a 5K as well.. I'm signing up - anyone else ?
Well, I have to say all you ladies have been a good influence on me. DH and I just did the first walk/run for Week 1 of c25k this morning. Neither of us have ever run before so it was challenging, but it was kinda fun too and made me much more energetic throughout the day.
We'll see if I actually stick with it, since I am notorious for dropping out of workout programs, but I'd really like to see it through. I'm kinda excited.
That's great! I ran the RDV run two years ago and it was a lot of fun, the neighborhood is very pretty. We'll be doing the Turkey Trot and the Disney Half Marathon this year.
Good luck with training, we can't train this week because we're at the hospital with my son, he had surgery this week. We're taking it pretty slow though, it's a lot harder to train then I thought.
Good Luck!!
