What's everyone up to this weekend???
Re: Weekend plans?
Friday- cleaning and lots of food prep for me tonight. Then going to Cracker Barrel to pick out a rocking chair for my grandma.
Saturday- IL's will be here. I ordered some sky lanterns, and Im hoping and crossing my fingers they get here in time!
Sunday- My grandma's 75th birthday! Im making a cake, and we will surprise her with the rocking chair. Im so excited, I cant wait to spend the day with her
Monday-Cookout with my family. It's going to be HOT outside!
John is off work today and tomorrow (1st weekend off in a LONG time), but he chose to go umpire a baseball torunament tonight, all day tomorrow, and Sunday morning. We could use the extra money, but I am not happy about him being gone all weekend and moreso that he signed up to do this before he asked me if we had any plans. I haven't seen him for more than 10 minutes since Sunday afternoon, so I'm not to happy about this.
Chase and I are going to a bbq on Sunday. Otherwise, it's going to be a very boring weekend. My mom is going to KC to help my sister pack and move. So, I will hopefully get some scrapbooking time in, if Chase lets me.
I'm actually not sure what our plans are. I know that we're doing something tonight, but I don't know what exactly...DH has planned it.
I do know that we'll likely spend one day on a hike, and we might try rock climbing at some point. I'd also like to finally paint the new guest room...we didn't like any of the first four colors we tried, so I picked three new ones last weekend. I think we have a winner in one of those three!
Our Blog!
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain."
I am off until Wednesday! I so needed a break.
Today I cleaned the house and did some shopping. Bought a few outfits for Em and baby girl #2, afterall she does need some of her own clothes and not all of her big sis hand me downs!
Not sure what we are up to the rest of the weekend. Probably just relaxing, maybe a couple day trips. Not really sure.
Tuesday is out next ultrasound!
Baby #2 - D&E - 10/1/10 @ 19w2d - thanatophoric dysplasia confirmed.
Charlotte Lillian will be forever in our hearts.
Baby #3 - Little Bean - natural miscarriage - 1/17/11 @ 5w5d
Tonight: Dinner and probably resting since I am exhausted from my work trip
Saturday: hopefully go to Hobby Lobby and get some craft stuff; finish up some cards; maybe try to scrapbook
Sunday: church and rest
Monday: Not really sure. Probably just try to do things around the house maybe
Sorry I am late to the post:
Friday- I had the day off and I was redecorating our bedroom. I had gotten a new comforter, pictures, assesories and I spent all day doing that. After TT got off work we met up with one of his coworkers for mexican and then we went to lowe's to look around.
Saturday- I finally had free time to finish touching up our kitchen cabinets. And after we cooked a big supper for us...grilled lemon pepper chicken, mashed potatoes, homemade mac and cheese, green beans, corn. We had some milk we had to use up.
Sunday- Church, went to Walmart to get a few things (used my coupons on some things for the 1st time was excited to save $6 on stuff I needed and use). After TT cut and weedeated our yard and my grandmothers. I planted some flowers in my pots. We had buffalo chicken salads for supper
Monday- TT hung my pictures for our bedroom and one new one that I got for our living room. Then I fixed us a big brunch...homemade waffles, scrambled eggs, link sausage. Then we relaxed around the house and went to my parents for a cook out at 3:30. We had hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and dip, key lime pie and smores.
