A couple of friends and I discussed throwing a baby shower for another friend (not a surprise one). We decided on a date and a place. Then, I receive an invitation to said shower with my friends' names (not mine) at the top as the hosts. I guess this means they had another conversation that I wasn't a part of. I can understand just putting the one girl's name on it since it is at her house but I felt like mine should have been included or they should have discussed this with me if they were going to do this.
I was planning on coming early to help set everything up and make some of the dishes. But now I think I may just bring one side dish and my gift (or just the gift) and show up at the same time as the other guests. I'm kind of miffed about this.
Re: FFF
I agree. Of course, you were the one who wanted to do it for your friend.. and you got pushed out. I would be very upset. Boo to them!
We're over budget for the month, but I got great tickets (presale) to see Wicked in September! I love how Ticketmaster now lets you choose your seats (for some events, anyway) and I was able to snag vision-impaired accessible + companion seats that I never even knew existed before. It was a bit of a PITA and isn't fully automated, but I'm just so happy that 1) they exist; and 2) I got them! (11th row)
*sigh* Poor Amex
Such a great show! DH and I got engaged at the Fox after seeing Wicked, so good memories for me

I ironed AJ's outfit this morning. It wasn't even that wrinkled, I just like having the kid that is dressed nicely instead of the kid with a runny nose in their jammies all the time.
P&R - his outfit didn't have any cutesy saying on it, just khaki shorts and a striped polo!
I was thinking about getting tix to this too. I wonder how quickly I need to move on it

Wicked is amazing in person! We saw it on Broadway (while drinking a tang with bourbon) a few years ago.
