where can I shop for rugs?

I'm a huge internet shopper.  I've found a ton of rugs online that I like for the new baby's nursery and have even ordered a few.  The problem is I'm looking to match a very specific orange.  It's the "tangerine" found in the etsy bedding I had made.  The rugs I have ordered just didn't work once they've arrived.  This is costing me time and money to order and return each one.  I would rather look at them in person, but I have pretty particular tastes.  I want something bold and graphic, not at all traditional.  Anyone have a place they can suggest I look?

This is my Pinterest board if you want to get a better idea of what I mean:  http://pinterest.com/artsake/possible-rugs-for-bug-s-room/

Re: where can I shop for rugs?

  • have you tried IKEA?  What about the Big Lots, ocean State Job Lot, or even Building 19...I know they all carry rugs but maybe a hit or miss..oh what about Home Goods...

  • Anthropologie?  Also, it's probably hit or miss, but what about TJ Maxx/Marshalls/Homegoods?  Even Target sometimes has some bold colors/patterns

Have you checked out Dash & Albert? I'm sure there is a realtor somewhere down in RI but I know you come to the Berkshires occasionally and the store Pine Cone Hill in Lenox sells them.
  • Ruggieri carpets on Sockonosset Crossroad.  There also used to be a place across from Classical high school on Westminster street.

  • I was going to suggest Job Lot or Curtain and Bath Outlet (there is one in Cumberland) - they have a good selection sometimes so you never know.
