I'm cleaning out the under-stair storage closet and I'm looking for some ideas on how to use that leeeetle space! What have you guys done with yours?
TIA for the inspiration!
Re: Show me your under-stair storage areas!
Not mine, but a few that I found in my own search for inspiration!

I was just telling my husband about the stairs that turned into shoe storage today. He didn't seem to think it was as amazing as I did. ;-)
I love that site!
We're moving soon into a house w/ a small closet under the stairs, which is also right outside our master bedroom door. We are totally using it as a shoe closet.
Thanks for the ideas!
Our under-stair area is more like an L-shaped WIC with a sloping ceiling. Right now we have an unstackable hodge-podge of bins filled with seasonal decorations, childhood belongings that need to be sorted through, our big luggage, etc.
The entry area I'm slowly converting into a mini office/ mail center. Sorting mail is the bane of our existence... so the idea is that you come in, shred, trash, and file what we can, and only bring what absolutely necessary in the condo. It also frees up space for the "office" to eventually be converted into a nursery.
I also want to have our emergency/evacuation kit down there, since it's be out of the way and easy to grab on the way out. Plus, if there's a tornado that's the best shelter we have here - so it make since to have some supplies already down there.
I want to make it a little less stark too... maybe DH will let me put up some of my WW2 memorabilia... he wasn't too keen on the idea of putting up my Rosie the Riviter "We can do it!" poster in the workout room.
